These terms are an agreement between you and Spooned (“we”, “us”) for the Spooned app and website (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them.

1. Your account

You can use Spooned without signing in; we create an anonymous account for your device. You may link Sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country).

2. Imported recipes

When you import a link, we read the publicly available post or page to build a recipe card for your personal library. Credit and a link to the original creator are kept. Don’t use the Service to republish others’ work in ways that infringe their rights.

3. User content and community rules

You own what you post (comments, videos, profile, recipes you share publicly) and give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute it within the Service and in links shared from it.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post or send content that:

• is sexually explicit, pornographic or exploits minors in any way;
• is hateful, harassing, bullying, threatening or discriminatory, or targets people based on protected characteristics;
• depicts or encourages violence, self-harm, dangerous acts, or illegal activity;
• is spam, scams, misleading, or advertises unrelated products or links;
• infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
• impersonates another person, or is off-topic for a cooking community.

We filter comments automatically, review reports, and may remove content and suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these rules, without notice. Content reported by several people is hidden automatically while we review it; we act on reports within 24 hours.

4. Reporting and blocking

Every video, comment and profile has a Report option (the ··· menu). You can also Block any user: you won’t see their videos or comments and they are removed from your followers and following. Manage blocked users in Settings. You can also email [email protected] with a link to the content.

5. Subscriptions

Spooned Premium is billed through the App Store or Google Play and renews automatically until cancelled in your store account settings. Prices and features are shown before purchase. Refunds are handled by the store under its policies.

6. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your recipes, cookbooks, votes, comments, videos and other data.

7. Disclaimers

Recipes are created by users and creators and extracted automatically; amounts may be estimated (marked “~”). Check ingredients for allergies and cook food safely. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties, and to the extent allowed by law Spooned is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
